Louisville Real Estate Trend

The Louisville Real Estate market is still strong, and Team Louisville is knowledgable on the current market value and the current market trends.

The Greater Louisville Association of Realtors is reporting home sales Up 2.3%, and Average Price +5% over last year.

GLAR President, Dave Parks, explains "While there appears to be some seasonal slowing, the overall market is extremely strong and there remains a shortage of inventory in the moderate price ranges. The demand is strongest for properties in move-in condition, priced at or near the market value when they are initially listed for sale."

In October, the average number of days Louisville homes were on the market was 57. We are still seeing a shorter turn around between listing and closing than in years past. Inventory is down almost 10% compared to last year which is good for sellers of starter homes in particular.
